Dusk Pool

This is a quick rendering for a contractor client of ours. Not much to look at architecturally, but was fun to play with lighting.

I'm waiting on the client's comments, but open to yours.

Keep in mind that I cannot change the architecture or pool layout.

Id try to make the water a bit less smooth. Perhaps throw in an extra fine few ripples. Or a alpha-d out crumple in places.

Love the lighting - partial to dusk scenes myself...

First thing that hit me: look at changing the texture of the concrete edge around the pool. The pattern seems way too strong, has too much contrast and is drawing my attention from the inviting water.

Also, the edge closest to the camera would likely show some shadowing, as the two different materials would not be at the exact same height. Perhaps a small bevel on the top of the edging would do this.
