What better for VT4?

What will be better for VT4? Xeon or Opteron? Does VT4 support 64-bit?

Newtek only officially recommends Intel.
Although there are some using Opteron.
If you search this forum for Opterron you should find quite a bit.

VT does not support 64bit.

The specs do say Opteron...

Processor Intel: Single Intel P4 520 (2.8 GHz), or Dual Xeon 2.4 GHz or faster
(Dual CPU systems are strongly recommended)

Processor AMD: Dual AMD Opteron 240 Minimum

It would only run in 32 bit mode with 32 bit RAM limits, etc. but they say it works.
