A few shots for a proposed remodel of the FBO in Ardmore OK. LW 7.5c with FPrime
very nice lighting, I love the couch, motion blur on the ceiling fan is a nice touch too.
what lighting setup are you using and how long did it take to render a this rez?
congratulation

Thank you.
Using Fprime with Monte Carlo 1 bounce. 1 exterior Distant light for the sun at 400%. One spot light for each of the cans. For additional ambient 6 distant lights all pointing to different axis and with raytracing disabled.
I let the render go over the weekend - so about 48 hours for 5 frames at 2048x1536
Looks nice, despite the people ;). But i would prefer softer spotlights from the ceiling.

Thanks for the kind words, Ingo
I don't remember how many times I changed the lighting on this project (blessing of FPrime) - trying to get a better look from the spots - finally (obviously) I settled for this setting on the spots.
Do you have some settings you found have worked better?
Well i try now to give those lights not to much power. I'll try to light the room without those additional lights and set them to a much lower setting with a small falloff, that way they are no so disturbing. We shouldn't forget that the exterior light has a lot more power than a simple desklight or spot.
Just my 2cents

Ah looks cool, but i think you should try to add more ambint to push the light, dont be affraid to take it up to 50& - 100%
even more.
I think fprime render arealights and pointlights faster then spotlights.

Thanks. I'll experiment with the Area Lights more. Looking back at the images now, they do look a little dark.
