Has any one seen the latest MacUser? (uk)
Lightwave 8 is in a shoot out with C4D and Maya, Lightwave seems to come out the worse. C4D wins!???

Who cares?
If I could create better art and faster in some other 3D-software I would switch in a second. But I can't and what some computer magazine says will not change that.

There is more parity with plugin support with c4d thanm lightwave.

eg. Free SSS plugins if u have a pc but the only way you can get SSS for mac is too buy G2 for $800aus.

no, there are plenty of free SSS shaders for mac if you got Mentalray:) I've even compiled one my self over to OS X.
