thorougly frustrated: no LW access privs in Mac OS 10.2.4 in 2nd account

2 days now trying to figure this out. I'm using Mac OS 10.2.4, trying to set up our lab for Lightwave. LW 7.5 works in Admin account but not iunder student login. (I dond't have enough access privs.) But each (and contents there in) is set to rw privs ( for other). 3 sets of prefs appear; one for student, another for 7.0, the last for 7.5, - all set to rw.

Does anyone know how to set up so that LW can work with more than one account?

Make sure you don't try runnning from your root disk...OS-X is a nasty tough and persistant ***** when it comes to sharing...just drag it to your work hd or secondary partition.

After 2 days of struggling, I realized that LW didn't appear in applications under (user) capabilities. So although all apps were enabled for the 2nd account, LW wasn't in the list. It had to be listed under 'others' after first locating LW apps.
