Boolean problems

Has anybody else been having problems with the Boolean tool lately?

I'm running 7.5d and the boolean tool doesn't work like it use to.

I was simply 'subtracting' a 6-sided box from an oval shape. I notice that it left gaps at the top and bottom?

The some of the 'new' polygons aren't even attached to the rest after 'merging' points??????

A picture is worth a 1000 words, show us.

Also, try rendering it vs. just looking at it in an OpenGL display.

The cause of the problem was that the object to be 'subtracted' from had non-planar polygons. I tripled those polygons and now Boolean works fine.
