Looks Killer! I've always thought about making a crazy, zombie type creature that was politically oriented in some fashion.

I'd airbrush a swastika on his forehead or something...

Here is some things I found Nazi related by doing a google with :nazi symbols

People will think when they see this render that the 3rd reich has dwelved into genetics and this is their new bezerker-fighter or something along those lines...

Very cool indeed

peace and out

I would'nt touch the teeth, they look very typical zombie. You want it to look somewhat humanoid don't you?

lol!

I'd render him inside some Nazi lab or something, going bezerk on his scientist creators. I get the whole "lake" thing I think I just think the whole Nazi thing defies him surfacing out of the water, or patrolling a shore. You could slam him in a cove setting. One that is brackish with lots of flotsum and jetsum. He could be half-way setting in a small cove type tree with his feet still on the ground, kinda leaning as it contemplates its exsistance while it eats a fish - probably a gar or another bottom feeder. It would have fish guts all over its mouth. You'd have to see the contemplation within it's eyes and expression to work like I am trying so hard to explain.

I think I've explored the Nazi/Terror quadrant within my brain enough for one day.

Keep me posted with your texturing.

Geat work.

peace

Are you modelling in Zbrush? ...or are you modelling in Lightwave to texture in Zbrush?

Hi there thanks for the comments,

Hervé , i'm in France and i am very aware of whta nazis did...actually i even went to auschwitz once (and i think everybody should go there at least once)
this said i wouldn't like to turn this into a political thread...this are just graphics...i know the word "nazi" has a sense but life is plenty of bad things and personally i think that maybe transforming this in something else is the best therapy u can do...if someone i knew had died in a car crash...i wont post a critic to someone that makes an animation of a car crash ...life goes on and also notice that a zombie is nothing positive any way and the association of ideas "nazi" and "zombie" are pretty much negative finally.

i'm not glorifying the nazis and i think that even if i understand your point i would like you to see it just like a graphic piece and not with all the sense of the history...like lets say the nazi villain in Hellboy?

peace

Hey Hervé, no decent human beings like Nazis either... nor those sub-human Arab terrorists...

I have to agree though that just by doing a computer graphic of a Nazi (albeit a zombified version) is in no way glorifying them... providing of course that said animation doesn't contain the Nazi shooting people or gassing them for "entertainment" - I'm sure Sailor didn't intend to do that!

Also, by not forgetting them (and what they did) we will hopefully make sure that something so terrible doesn't happen again :)

As for the model itself I have to agree on the teeth - they look good as it they are, although maybe have a few of them chipped/broken to add to the decaying effect.

I also love that deformed brow - really makes him look evil!

ok, then add a knife stuck in his head... after all he's a zombie.... :D

no offense....

Yeah a knife - no, let's make it a machete - would be good. Let's have it going right the way through so it pokes out the other side!!

I kind of like the way you've "folded-over" his top gums... Are you going to make the gums exposed or is he designed to where the gums and face are one continuous piece of flesh? The first render has some qualities that the later is missing. I am not sure what it is, maybe that he is not looking up? It maybe the folded gums? What does everyone else think about this progression?

I can't wait to see this textured.

Sailor, You've got a really cool imagination!

peace and out

p.s. - It's just art, not a political statement...

It's looking good. I like what I presume are the veins on his head.

It would look neat to see sea weed on him. Perhaps a broken neck or dagar in his head. Something to make it look like he is walking with the dead. How about some blood gushing from his neck.
