View Full Version : An Old Structure
Even though I have enough work to do with my animation, I decided to start something new and different for me.
Still a bit of modeling to do. Any good links to texture sites would be really handy too.

Nice moody little scene you've got going there, keep at it.

This has an excellent feel to it. The lighting already has a good effect, and even without textures I can already tell it's old by the little details you've thought of... like the crooked door, the wire, the bent pipe, the stones... all add to the believability. I can't wait to see it textured!
Thanks for the comment fellas.
I started texturing as you can see. Still not sure how i'm gonna light it but I don't have to worry about that.

Very nice start! Just one little hint. What about a poster or something similar on the left wall in the foreground which is getting cropped by the image borders? Your image right now is composed in a way like a frame inside a frame (know what I mean?). Having for example this image in the position I just mentioned would establish a foreground and this would give your image a greater depth. Otherwise your "non-linear" modeling is really great and you already feel the age of this structure.
