I'm doing an outdoor scene at night and I want to be able to see the moon. Can any one tell me how to create a night sky using sky tracer? Thanks.

Not sure why you need skytracer for a night sky?
But if you check under the 'suns' setting, there's an option for 'moon'.

There's some 'night sky' skytracer presets over at Lux that you can download and pull apart to get you started http://www.luxology.net/community/lwpresets_list.aspx?mode=Type&id=4

U can also use a plugin called PlugPak (http://www.kolumbus.fi/erkki.halkka/plugpak/index.html) which includes a tool called SkyGen to create very cool looking skys.

LightWave 7.5c includes a full (no-nags) version of Skygen 2.0.
It's basicly the same that was in Plugpak 1.0. PlugPak 2.0 has SkyGen 3.0, with some additional features.
