copying lights/animation to other scenes

I have a scene with some lights in it that are animated. Is there a way to copy those lights and animation to another scene? These lights are in a bunch of scenes and they are off of a previz set so i can't just use one scene over and over. The animation for certain scenes are already done, i just need to add these lights and the animation/settings on them. Any help would be great...thanks!

Open the scene where your animated lights are.
Delete all others things in this scene.
Save as a new scene call something like "XXX_LightsOnly.lws".
Open the scene where you want your lights.
Use load item from scene and chose your "XXX_LightsOnly.lws".
Say yes when it asks if you want to load lights.

I think it will work.

I found some plugins on flay that extract lights. Still not sure about the animation thing.....can you bake animation onto lights?

Yeah thats the way i do it with my animations. It will ask you if you want to load lights as well. Obviously in your case it's a yes.
