any suggestions, settings, examples or project files that show moving water in a glass or bowl? i am trying to get the efferct of water sloshing around in a cup but it seems like an elusive goal. i am starting witht the cup swish file in the content directory but it is tough. good particle behavior but adding hypervoxels to the particles doesnt really give me what i am looking for. any clues? also any refraction settings that mimic water?

- not wanting to spend the money for real flow as this is a spec job...

thanks

If you only want the water moves inside the cup, you can make it with polygons and dynamics or with morphs and displacements controlled by weightmaps.

The most important settings for particals seem to be:

Birth Rate
Partical Size
Self Interaction: Crowd
and the Force of the interaction.

For the object the collision size seems important and smaller seems better to a point.

I was able to get a stomach shape to fill up with swirling liquid in just a bit messing with these settings. It could have been more realistic with more particals and turbulance, but those raise calc times. Turbulance seems to make things take for ever and get crazy (which makes sense).
