Black Crouton

We're having a few problems using Toaster Edit build 3890. We are using quite a few clips on our timeline and having a random bug of one or more clips appearing black and not appearing on the video output. Saw something like this on another forum but we couldn't find a solution.

This problem is occuring when editing Pal DV footage using the Canopus Codec.

Any ideas anyone?

Did you install the Canopus codec on your VT2 system?

yes we did (the playback codec). to start with the clips appear - but once we starting razoring clips etc some of them randomly turn black.
