I loved it in Speed Razor where I could manually set properties for snap-to functions in the timeline. In Toaster Edit, snap-to certainly works well, but I would like to have more settings in the preferences to better control how it works. For example, the option to have no snap-to unless I am holding down the 's' key, or whatever, and then, be able to say 'snap-to' only markers and/or only the timeline grid and/or only audio clips, and/or only video clips.
As it is, it feels like snap-to is using markers the most, which I place frequently, and then other clips, and sometimes the timeline grid. Also it seems that once the snap-to function is turned on in the preferences, the Control key has to be held down in order to de-activate it and have free movement, but only after clicking and dragging the clip...if Control is held down first, it clones the clip.
I am getting fast at Toaster Edit and am happily using it for video editing and complex sound design/editing, but adjustable snap-to properties would be nice.
