alpha channel

I´ve been trying to export rendered clips from LightWave to use in toaster edit. I can´t find a way of keeping an alpha channel that allows me to use it in a video project. Any way of doing this? (without still image sequence option...)

In the rendering options, on the output tab:

Once you have set your Type to NewTek-RTV go to the options bellow and set the Alpha mode to Save Alpha.

Then once the anim is rendered out, in TED enable it as an overlay.

That's all there is to it.
