Dumb question - saving settings in 7.5

I've scanned the manuals, but can't find it...

I want to save some setrtiongs as defaults that are not in the options panels. Things like the camera resolution, the compression levels used for previews, the number of default frames in a new scene...

It's got to be somewhere obvious, hasn't it?!?!

you could try opening the lw.cfg or lw3.cfg file, located in the program folder or the windows folder, don't remember right.

Make a scene that loads at startup with your default settings. It doesn't have to have anything in it other than the default light and camera...
