You don't have to give up. It just doesn't look accurate. With some more effort put in it, and help from refpics, this could get a lot better :)

Looks really cool, you could use the bandsaw a bit more to tighten up the sides the Elise is all pointy and sharp. But it's coming on really well!!!

Looks good but needs more work on the detailing.
Are you working from blueprints or modelling from scratch? if you need better blueprints then try

go to their sportscar section and get some elevations to work from you'll find that you will get more accuracy on the curves of the body and just more accuracy all over.
It should help tighten up your mesh. Use splines to start with then patch between them to get the surfaces.

If you are modelling from scratch then I think you have achieved a good result so far just keep modelling.;)
