Hey all:
I'm intalling my VT2 card and SX8 card into my new computer and was wondering if anyone had some tips that I should be aware of. I recently received my software CD with the compatible windows XP build.
Thanks,
Paul

What are your computer specs?
That would be the key issue about what recommendations we could give.

Yeah, Specs would probably help.:D
Actually I've already installed my VT2 card and SX8 card into PCI slot #2 of my P4DC6+ motherboard. I was told that was the best slot for this board. I was also told the best place for the firewire card was Slot 4 (the slot closest to the edge of the board)
Right now I really need help with the best order to install the software. For instance do I ignore the original software that came with the VT2 and just install the XP compatable build that I just received from Newtek.
Specs:
OS: Windows XP Professional
MB: P4DC6+
RAM: One Gig Kingston RDRAM
Video: Gainward GeForce 4
Chassis: AMS Rackmount ATX Extended
Thermal Inidcator: Digital Doc 2
IDE 1 : 2 seagate drives(system and backup)
IDE 2 : DVD: Sony DRU-500AX and 1 seagate drive(DVE drive)
Floppy drive: Sony
That's it. Thanks for any help you can give.
Paul
