I'd like to see the ability to save "workspaces" in Modeler, i.e. files containing information like
Open objects
FG/BG Layers
Backdrops
Open dialogs
Current default surface
Etc.
Basically, all that state information that you have when working in modeler that but that is lost on every quit.
Maybe this is sorta minor, but it would be nice to be able to boot modeler, load ONE file, and jump right back in where you left off.
Edited to add:
Additionally, such files could store things like display settings/content dir/etc. - All the state information that is global, but that you might like to vary from project to project. This is probably less important, as typically you most likely don't switch between many objects in a small period of time, but could still be useful.
