Hi,
In attempting to import a few mpg1 files into the timeline I found VT3 didn't want anything to do with them. I then tried a file to file encoding using TMPEG and found they would inport fine into the timeline but for some reason even though I went into the set screens and checked the setting, etc. the new file stopped encoding about 10 seconds before the end on a 1 1/2 min clip.
Very strange. Any thoughts. The original files are from a client CD that was set for auto play and had mpg1 files listed as SeqAV files. I laso tried WIndows media encoder but it would not play read the originals.

As a side not my Windows office PC running XP home and WM9 plays the original files fine but these same files will not play back using WM9 on the VT3 machine. Very strange indeed.

Try using TMPGEnc's MPEG tools to demux the MPEG video and audio to separate streams. I've done this before to get some VCD MPEG-1 streams to work right in VT-Edit.
