A little help would be kind

Hey guys, decided I'd try my hand at modelling a cell phone (using the one I have) a Nokia 8265. But I'm having a problem with putting on a decal. I swear I've done this before in the same fashion but I cant seem to get it to work, I'll post pictures explaining below.

On this image, if you look on the bottom end you'll see a square that says 'cingular' in it. Thats the part I'm trying to decal. I want just the little orange logo and the cingular text to show up.

I then in Paint Shop Pro, made a mask layer from the image, inverted it, and saved it as a Tiff.

Inside the image editor in layout it says the alpha channel is enabled.

But it turns out like that

Any ideas?

Nevermind that all, got it figured out, was saving it as an uncompressed tiff, and that saved only an 8 bit image.

I'll keep posting the phone though cause I couldnt imagine anyone on this forum being bored of cell phone models.
