Hi
I started this at about 1pm today. Finnished the model by 4.
Heres the second render I've made. The first was better, but it crashed.
What can I do to make it a bit better? Just doesnt seem right.
I want it photoreal, but theres just something missing.
Any help?

Here are the wireframes. Its 3731 polys. the image in the post above took around 40 minutes to render on my 1.7ghz with 648mb of ram.

The model is great. It looks like you have reflections, but no shadows.

I noticed i had caustics off. there are shadows and radiosity. maybe it i made the scene more intense with stronger lights and darker shadows.

Here the same scene with darker shadows, caustics, and no radiosity.
Is that better or worse?

Oh I like this one.
No radiosity. just one area light. I really like my texturing on the table. ...mm modesty

Worse-- much worse. Looks very muddy now. Maybe you should try adding an incidence angle to the reflections (or just lower the values) to tone them down some, then bring the lighting back up. Maybe make it a little more directional for more defined shadows and separation of the different parts of the phone?
