Hi
I have an object with different layers animated.
For simplify the movement of the object (car) i create a null and parent all the layers in this null object.
I animate the null parent. For some keys i want to change the speed when the object approach those keys. I use the ease in/out in graph editor, just after apply this, the way and the rotation of my object change and i lose the exact position of my object.
Some ideas to help me ?
Thanks in advance

I'm not exactally sure what you're asking... but your problem might be with the post effects. Go into the Graph Editor and change the post effects to linear or stepped. Hope that helps.
You should figure out all of the position keys and timing before you turn the car:
make sure you have the car in the right place at the right time through the entire animation, then go back through the animation again to make the car turn left or right.

Hi Toby
If i understand you told me to set my car to each important keys (the keys i want my car stops or speed downs), make ease in/out, save and after had the other key frames for the turn left right and so on, isn't it ?

I think we understand each other -
First animate the X and Z position only, when finished go back to the beginning and animate the Heading. When finished with that, go back to the beginning and animate the Bank, etc.
Welcome to animation! It's not easy, it takes a lot of practice.

ehm.. whenever you want to.. but.. keep in mind that you put your object in the right axis in modeler. Otherwise it could be that the align to path makes you car drive backwards. You have to turn your car 180° in modeler then.
Also. Align to path is an automated function. And as always: Automated functions in animation are 100% correct. And as always in animation: 100% correct is not always 100% the best.
with a car you have the risk that when using align to path, your car will loose its weight. when turning, the "mass" of the car comes slightly later in time then the movement itselves.
I hope I don't talk too much in riddles..
You can use Align to Path whenever you want, but I don't use it, I don't like the way it looks, and at the end of the path, your object spins around 180 degrees.
