Could anyone tell me if screamernet rendering networks are capable of 'share' rendering a single frame, still image or is screamernet purely for multi frame animation rendering?

Technically only one render node can be given one frame at a time, it doesn't support one frame split to several nodes natively.

However, as with most of things in LightWave, there's always a work-around!

There's a few free plugins that use LightWave's 'Limited Region' render option to split a scene into sections, each section can then be sent to a render node.

Hopefully this feature will be built-in in future versions.
