This is my first model of F15.
It is yet a work in progress and I'm thinking to do the whole model again(I'm not satisfied with this one).
It takes me 2 days to model it and make the texture.
The background in the final image will be the desert.
Here are 2 shot.

2 days may sound long.. But to get it perfect, you really need to spend some more time in it. It looks pretty good already, but just not good enough... I know it's your first, but after you've redone it, and put more time in it, it will look alot better :)
And use as many reference pics as possible ;)

i agree....& the texturing needs to be improved....once you've worked on a better mesh, you would want to spend some quality time in photoshop to create textures....you can find lots of references on the web (google.com). You may also want to learn UV mapping instead of just slapping a texture on there

I agree with the others but they didn't mention you should work on the lighting as well it looks flat so It doesn't show any detail.
keep up the good work.

Effective use of bandsaw could fix up the model, as its all subpatched, also, not sure if you're using blueprints, but they seriously help.

im not sure on exactly what a f15 looks like but i think your model may need some sharper lines on it in some sections. especially where the wings join the body. and texturing needs to be re-done.

nice mesh....great inmprovement...however it does not look convencing. Here's a suggestion, instead of making one single mesh, model it in several parts. After all, most manufactured objects such as cars, computers, planes are made of several parts that are put together. below are some references i found on google.com. Granted you can't import them into LW & start modeling...you may have to draw a front, side, & top view in order to do that. But none the less these images should be a great help.

just a little thought and that is get rid of the texure you using it make the model confusing. once you get your model the way you wont it then texture.:)
