Hello,
I using bazier command to create a polygon and then uisng extrude command to create a tube. The problem is it added many additional point to the tube so it became too complex. Is any other command or setting can do the job.

Thanks

Although there are undoubtably some Lightwavers here, the best place to ask this type of question would be in the Lightwave section of the forums.

When you extrude your bezier curve it gets frozen first then extruded.

This has to be done in order to get polygons. The bezier curve is just that a curve and will not be seen as an object until is gets frozen into polygons.

What you can do is make a flat box wiht multiple segments and the use the spline bend tool to shape it the curve you like.

YOu can have a curve in a background layer and use that as a shape guide for the bend tool.

correction the tool is called Spline guide.

YOu can use it to bend, scale, stretch, twist...

ONe thing that just came to mind is that you should always keep open the numeric panel. Press n on your keyboard.

That panel gives you acces to many settings for the tools you use.

I the case of the bezier tool, the numeric panel allows you to specify the numbe of points to have between each control point, that's the subdivision setting.

The less the subdivision number is, the less points that get created when the curve is frozen.
