Had 3 days to do these illustrations of the Sword of Mars, Hammer of Vulcan, and the River Stone of _________ (forget the name.)

They are only going to be about 1" x 1" on the page so I could not make them too detailed (Thank goodness! three days from concept to delivery was pretty tight.)

No. It is a reflective surface with the veins texture.
It is a radiosity render with 3 spots, Shadow Maps, and global illumination turned down to 22%.

All three were rendered this way. The stone and the sword have a Non-Radiosity render multiplied over them to increase the Specular and reflection (check out the renders used to make the stone by following the links above the picture.)
