LW-8 Content Directory

I seem to be having a newbe malfunction, I cannot firure out how to set up the content directory. I can find the "content manager" under the layout file menu but it gives me very few hints. I have tried searching the help menu but no find. Any clues??

Have you added all the plugins as of yet? It may not show up until they are added. Just a guess thou.

For Layout it is EDIT<SET CONTENT DIRECTORY... or F12 or EDIT<GENERAL OPTIONS... or o

For Modeler it is EDIT<GENERAL OPTIONS... or o

Once you select content manager in either program a file directory will be displayed. At this point just select which directory you want to use as a content directory. Note if you wish to keep a separate directory away from Lightwaves directory. Make sure you read the manual about how you should create subdirectories for objects, scenes and images.

Thankxs for the response; I am always timid around new realeases therefore I have not loaded all my plug ins> However I found the help section I needed under Layout>Edit>content directory
