Hey gang,
I just wanted to let you know that I had problems registering LW [8] using Safari. So, I tried with Explorer and it worked. Just in case anyone else has this problem, restart your machine, make sure your dongle in in the USB port, and try again with Explorer. I may be the only person who had this problem since my life is weird that way:)

I just registered my LW 8 last night using Safari and had no problems. I'm using the latest versions of both OS X and Safari as well.
I was worried a little when I was registering, since it took a little longer than my UVEditPro registration when I chose Lightwave 8 from the drop-down menu before it went to the next page where I actually entered my serial number and stuff, but it was all good in the end.
Sorry to hear about the slight registration hiccup PaladinWolf, but I'm glad to hear that you were able to register and we can all start getting used to version 8 (after months and months of waiting ~.^)!

Agreed. This is going to be a great adventure for us geeks. All the new tools and shiny buttons. I actually did a dance and made up a song when I saw the package from Newtek in my mailbox!
Let's DO this ya'll:)

I had no problem registering Lightwave 8 with Safari. It was a breeze.

Hey folks, I said it might just be me. I learned that one should never register software while playing XBOX at the same time. I had to choose between saving the earth in Halo, or paying attention while registering. The earth has been saved:)
