Finally grew tired of rendering teapots and spheres and talking about bugs.
This image is in reply to a post on another thread regarding transparent/refraction blurring.
Girl in Shower.
I call this image "Therapy" :p
[edit - fprime 1.02, refraction (curtain) at 1.01, refraction blurring at 100% - time taken = 10hrs (approx)]

That's gorgeous! Love the concept, and I know the render is grainy, but that seems to be just what this shot needs.
Nice work.

Thanks Guys. :)
I'm with you 100% on the grain Brett, it gives it that 70's B-Movie look.
On the animation side danilo, the image abave was rendered at 1200*675, so dropping that down to DV should make the times a little more reasonable. Plus, the curtain shape was created with motion designer to bring the material closer to the finger tips. It woudn't take much work to add a breeze to the folds.
When I have the time, I might just come back to this one. :)
Cheers.

Thankyou Papou. :)
I went back to this on Friday night, changed the lighting, angle, transparency and refraction.
Yuk, very CG. Sometimes it's best just to stop when you're ahead .

What...you mean you're not going to go on and recreate the Shower Scene from (the original) Psycho ? I am most disappointed :D
