read only error!! plz help!!

hey. i got a VERY bad problem with lw at the moment. it wont let me modify any object, because it says it's read only. now before u say anything, the file is NOT read only, and im really runing short on ideas to what could be causing the problem.
please read the following thread for info on the problem before replying, as it may have already been said and not worked... thanks!

i am now having to consider getting a new hd, and reinstalling windows etc.. just start from scratch, although i REALLY dont want to have to do that!!

Here's how I do mine when I get them.

Copy the object and all layers (you will lose them but it's better'n redoing everything all over)

Go to file and click on 'NewObject'
Paste the copied object (they are now all 1 layer)
Do a save as and rename it to a new drive or partition
Clear all objects in LW

reload new object, mine usually work from this spot on.

.. i have just managed to fix it, by adding a -0 to teh desktop shortcut, so to ru nmodeler without hub!

...how can i get lw running fine with the hub again?!!:confused:
