Item Shape Plugin: Opacity?

I've been using the Item Shape plugin to add a disc at the base of my characters, but Layout doesn't save the opacity setting of the item.

Has anyone else encountered this problem?
and more importantly, found a solution?

Oh yeah .. while I'm here..

Has anyone else noticed the small bug with the slider plugin?

In order to modify the properties of a particular channel you need to have at least 2 channels, otherwise the properties don't display. Even when you have 2 channels you have to click the other one first then the one you want to edit..

its kind of annoying, don't you think?

Yes the itemshape- opacity seems to be broken in LW 7.5a, but seemingly has been fixed for LW7.5b

I've been sceptical about the upgrade, becouse I've been reading about people having troubles. But of course they won't write if everything is working fine now, will they?
