AVI Wrapper/Quicktime Error

XP Pro, VT3 Patch 2, QT 6.1 Pro

Did someone say that the wrapper broke with QT 6?

I get an error that the requried compressor could not be found to play back the movie.

I'm using QT 6.3 with my VT[3] & XP Pro inside of After Fx 5.5 - no problems - except the obligatory creation of a separate audio file, of course! :p

I just wanted to open VT wrapped AVI in QT Player to export, but it won't load.

I upgraded to QT 6.5 and you are correct - QT cannot find a decompressor to play - I guess applications like AfterFX magically take care of this codec problem.
