Hello all;
I have been having a problem with Lighwave for quite some time. I create an object in modeler and then load it into Lightwave. The object is lit beautifully with the default light. I can even adjust the light to change the shadows, etc ... However ... when I try to add a second light, the second light never seems to work (Ie. I can't see any evidence that the second light source is affecting the illunination of the object. When I turn off the default light, the whole scene turns black which is why I suspect the second (just added) light isn't working. I have tried this numerous times off and on and I could never get more than the default light source to work. Nothing in the properties gave me any indication that I am doing anything wrong and the intensity is turned way up. Any thoughts and ideas I can try? Thanks. Tim

Layout-Options-Display Options-Max OpenGL Lights

The default is one, increase the number in the box to match your scene, and you'll be able to see the effect of the other lights.

One thing you need to know is.If you load a second light into lightwave, it's default position is 0-0-0 but the default light that is in all lightwave scenes is in a different place so when you delete the first default light that was in the scene to start with you must move the second one to that position inorder for your light to work
