Another Newbie Question

Hi folks I'm about as new as it gets. I have been messing with LW 7.5c ...I'm having fun but very slow learning curve...no docs...no training...just trial and error...a lot of the latter...any way, is there an easy way to describe how to get the planet in this model to follow the orbital path. I would like it to be global so I can animate the whole logo as one object and have the planet orbiting constantly.

Read the manual on keyframing and repeating keyframes in the graph editor.

1 way is to make a disk in modeler the size and shape ya need,
kill the poly
highlight the points in a circular motion
make it a spline
change spline to motion and save
load motion for the earth and set to 'repeat'
