Lion Trumpet versus Mr Apple

This image is a colab between myself and a friend of mine, a really good LightWave artist imho, Filipe. Unfortunately, I haven't heard from him in a long, long time, but I came across this image in a folder, and I just thought I should post it. So anyway, here it is. I did the modelling and concept, Filipe upgraded it to an awesome image (damn his lighting skills). All done in LightWave without post processing only used on the top border of the image:

I didn't even get his last name. If anyone knows a guy who goes by the nickname Filipe and is situated somewhere in Portugal, who's spent quite some time in various LW communities, let me know. I still have some things to sort out with him.

I've always liked flowing reflective objects. This is done artfully...I like the dof in the shot. I took the liberty of adjusting your picture though..seeing that is 2 megs in size. kinda big for a 1024 rez image. The one I'll post so the other folks with 56k can see it is considerably smaller, with no loss of quality.

i just dont know how you would blow into thoes trumpets,
the mouth piece seems a bit sharp:)
