well, i'm obviously doing something wrong. i tried attaching a file, then the old method, and neither one worked. didn't find anything in the FAQ. a little help?

Hey Ione
Files that are to be attached must not be larger than 500x500pixels and must not surpass 200k (I think, but I am not sure now). You can also sue the butons on top of the reply- box to add an image that is your own webserver.

You have to either attach the image or you have to upload the image to a server some place then refrence the image to it either using the [URL] tag or the [IMG] tag. Currently if you use the [IMG] tag it will look the same as the [URL] tag due to a adminstrative choice to turn [IMG] tags off.

well, i see from another post that the image uploaded actually resides on your webserver - seeing as my only net access is at work, behind a secure firewall (i live in the sticks; any donations to help me move gladly accepted), it seems my days of posting pictures are over. while i really like everything else about the new forum, THIS BLOWS! later.

it just doesn't show up on the page but as a link atm
I think one of the admins must have disabled that option by accident
