Effectors...

Hi there... I´m going insane here, I just can´t figure out how effectors work.. reading everything I´ve got and still don´t get it...

Just how can I make a sphere object to deform a plane? I have a shot to make, and I need the feet from a character to deform the object it stands on.. Not much...assume you stand on your bed, and your feet will deform the soft parts of your bed...

Please help....

I must add that reading the manual did help very little. It made me confused and I didn´t really understand what I was reading.

Maybe Newtek will supply an example scene with LW8 on how to use effectors....?

There are a number of sample scenes that I believe uses effectors. Probably in the _Features directory.
