I'm trying to do UV mapping. I need to have all the surfaces maped out on one texture. In a tutorial I read about "multi selection" in the surface editor. However, I can't select more than one surface at a time, and windows conventions like holding the shift key down while selecting, don't work. I tried looking it up in the manual, but couldn't find it.

How do I do multi selection in the surface editor?

Using shift works fine for me. Ctrl also toggles too.
Multi selection works on the surfaces. However you can't select multiple layers within a channel (like color, diffusion, bump...etc..).

Err, actually, my question was even more stupid than that. I eventually discovered that there is a little arrow that makes a list appear down the side to select from. Took me a lot of tearing my hair out to work that out:rolleyes: .

I'm in newbie hell.
