I think it's great they are having that deal with DFX+(TM) but I ask what do mac users get....boo boo??? I think they should give something to mac users besides nothing I don't want to buy a pc to use some piece of software....make it fair newtek! We pay the same amount.

I'll second that, although I don't call it unfair, NT can do what they want... I just want NewTek to know that I need to buy another seat of LW but am waiting until there is a special that as a Mac user I can take advantage of. I only hope that if Mac sales are slipping because of this promo that they don't attribute it to a lack of market.

I'm not draw to this upgrade promo. Hopefully NT will offer something for the mac user and still waiting for it. perhaps SASquatch will be nice :)

Or just lower the upgrade price for mac back to $395. That would be nice too. :)

I for one am not upgrading until I see an offer that is targeted at Apple users. My next computer will be a G5, and DFX just won't work on it. Couple that with the rather stiff tarriff for pre-ordering LW8, and NewTek won't be getting an upgrade out of me anytime soon.
