Hey,

I often need to reset the local network adapter to get internet back up.
I got this both at home and at the office.
Noone else at the office has this problem. I am the only one using LW here.

Looking at the events there is a lot of traffic from LW in the logs.

Has anyone else had this problem, and could it be Lightwave related (HUB)?

I had to get a couple of new network cards, 1 for a new computer, I couldn't be bothered getting the MB replaced even though this was offered. Another one wasn't working properly. & another one was just slow. They are very cheap so once you iron out the problem maybe have a spare one on hand.

I also had a modem go earlier this year & the supplier said don't expect them to last more than a few years. It started going downhill gradually needing to be reconnected more & more frequently.

Make sure everyone/computer is on the same "workgroup"

I have the same problem but I do not think it can be lightwave related. My cable modem ( Cisco EPC3010 ) love to reset itself and make me reset connection ( I just must click on yellow triangle with "!" on it to make it alive ). I have backup internet from alternative provider so my sanity is safe for now but I will crack this riddle.

I had a similar problem and ended up getting a new router.
