probably you all know already of the axyz anima package, which was presented this early summer and which is mainly targeted at archviz... apparently, it's well developing, but i have not heard yet about a LW plugin for it. currently max, maya and c4d are supported. however, what it does already, is to support the LWO format for loading the reference model, which maybe is a good sign. so, anyone here knows more about anima plans for LW?
but great news for mac users is that there is an OSX beta/demo as well, since a few days. link: http://www.axyz-design.com/anima/
another new and stunning, extremely well thought animation tool for vizualization is the cinema 4d plugin at this link: http://www.vreel-3d.de/Tutorials/Vreel_ppl/Vreel_ppl_introduction.html
it's apparently still under development, but the demo video is looking very promising, imo. i wonder if anyone will ever take the plunge to develop something like this for LW? in any case, as i also still own a license for c4d (but don't intend to use it for scene setup and rendering) i will try if there is any viable workflow to transfer motions and meshes from c4d to lw, once the plugin is released.
cheers
