Using SE2 with onboard audio, with a RealTek driver. Crashes on 2 new Win7pro computers with the same configuration. Works fine on older computers with different configurations.
Would have submitted the problem but the link was dead.
Thanks for any help or suggestions.
Just a thought, but have you updated your SpeedEDIT? I think full support for Win 7 came after SE 2.0. But that's calling on a lot of memory which I won't guarantee is acurate. :hey:

Wow, that should never have worked on any version of Windows, but for some reason it always (or usually) had.
I can only guess that some other fix made the supporting code more correct, causing this to finally show up.
It is now fixed internally and will be in an update soon.
Thanks for the report.

SE2 is up to date.
Audio drivers are up to date.
At this point I will probably start trying audio cards. Any suggestions on a cheap audio card that has a proven track record for working?
Thanks

Let me be really clear, it will not work as it stands.
Well, it might occasionally just due to random chance, but it's not the computers fault when it doesn't.
I've fixed it here, but give us a bit longer to test all the changes we've made.
