...like i said, sorry if someones already answered this question but i'm lookin to get a graphics card for my single processor G4 867. i checked things out and found Nvidia's 128mb were they claim it offers a whole lot more cause it uses its on GPU power and not the computers CPU power.
should i go for this card or the Radeaon???
i'm running Lightwave 7, would this make any use of the Nvidia card???...
any help would be well nice...
oh yeah what card would you recommen for the DP G4 1.42ghz????....

Well, i don't really know what to tell you. But if you check around on this forum you will see that some OS and ligtwave configurations with a radeon card will reveal some terrible bugs. I have an Nvidia geforce2 and have not had any problems. So i would suggest the Nvidia.

I just switched out the ATI 32 meg card in my G4 for the nvidia geforce 2 64 meg card and I no longer have the problems you might have read about on this forum. I'm also using OSX.2.8 without any troubles.

I see that ATI *finally* released a "fix" for the ati bug but I have found that the only fix for the ati bug is nvidia. When I buy my next mac it will have an nvidia built in. Cheers.
