View Full Version : One thing I've always asked myself...
What is the difference between, Antialiasing and Enhanced Antialiasing
What is the difference... more than the length in rendertimes I assume..
Greetz!

Additional pixels in the AA passes? I would bet (although I couldn't find data to back me up) that the enhanced passes use more pixels to calculate the values of the edges.
enhanced is better for scenes with wires/lots of thin lines/tiled floors etc.

I think the enhanced modes use sub pixel anti-aliasing. This does make a difference, and in some cases (like the thin wires case just mentioned above) a pretty big one.
