network rendering

i'm trying to get screamernet working. i think i have my command lines correct. the problem happens when i ask lightwave to find network cpus. i won't even recognize the host machine. anyone know about this.

Do you get a node on the host CPU to be recognized?

The first step in setting up is to make sure your command lines are correct. According to the string my LScript puts out, you need a trailing colon in the content directory (-d).

If a node on the same CPU as the host is registering, then you have an issue with the additional networked computers having access to everything in the rendering path, I'd guess.
