POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Blackbird Technologies, Inc. is expanding its Digital Media Production Team. We are currently searching for qualified Motion Graphic Designers to support the growing projects on this team. The preferred applicants will have experience working in a television, video and/or a digital media production environment. Applicants must demonstrate advanced skills creating content with Photoshop, After Effects and Illustrator.
Working as part of the team, the Motion Graphic Designer will participate and contribute throughout all stages of the multimedia/video creative process. The Motion Graphic Designer will help conceptualize visual ideas then produce creative and compelling content that supports the production.
Blackbird employs creative, technical thinkers. All successful candidates will share these qualities.
Required Skills/Education:
Bachelors degree in graphic design, art, or a related field
5+ years professional experience working with Photoshop, After Effects and Illustrator
3+ years experience working in a television, video and or a digital media production environment
Must possess the ability to translate creative concepts into dynamic visual content
Must present a professional demeanor and be able to work and participate effectively within a team environment as well as independently
Must possess strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Must have the ability to manage priorities, meet deadlines and work well within a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment
Applicants will be required to submit examples of work by way of demo reel or online portfolio
Current Top Secret security clearance
US Citizenship is required
Desired Skills/Education:
Maya 3D, Lightwave, 3D Studio Max or Cinema 4D experience
FCP, AVID, or Premiere video editing experience
MAC experience
