I believe similar things are incorporated into 8 so just wait until 8 unless you need them sooner.

Cheers,

Kaboom comes in two (or 3?) seperate parts. One is a stand-alone application, the other 2 are lscripts.
You can use the LScripts in the mac version of Lightwave. They introduce data from Kaboom into your scene.

The application is used to control and define the explosions. This can only be used in a PC (and does NOT require Lightwave on the PC).

It is a small app so I think you should be able to use it under VirtualPC for Mac. It will create a few files that you can than use in the Mac version of Lightwave, using the LScripts.

It's been a long time since I've tried out kaboom, so I might be a bit wrong. Just double check if the LScripts can be run on Mac or not.
Good luck.
Joao.

thanks all for your replies. joao, you're right. after looking into it more it is standalone app. and does work on my virtual PC. the LScripts it generates then can be edited in text to work on mac easily. thanks alot!
