zelda cell shade cool?

I just saw the demo of Zelda running last night at Wal-Mart. Not the best cel-shading (Jen's is much better, IMO :) ) but I was impressed that they went that direction with it.

I don't really understand the obsession with this cellshading...
I still think cell shading in games is butt ugly and beyond any use, but then again, many people seem to like it, just not me...
