Jump to center of clip

Selecting a track makes the play bar jump to the center of the clip. Is there any way to disable this? I looked in properties and it only has center, end and start, but no disable. When working on long multi cam clips having this on is very anoying.

You probably have the "Track Clip" box checked on VT-Edit Rich (just above the Shuttle control).

Track clip was not selected......but for some reason when I rebooted the system, it stoped doing it. Thanks for your help.

You weren't feeding the floppy drive sticks of chewing gum were you Rich? That's been known to gum up the works and leave things stuck in the "on" position.

By jumping to the middle of the clip, you can ignore the first half and be done with your edits in half the time. This is an undocumented programming feature in VT I believe? :D
