Layout crashes any time I add Cloth dynamics to an object

Since it's so specific and duplicatable, I'm hoping there's some quick fix, like reinstalling a file. This is my first easy to duplicate crash problem though, so not sure where to start.

I've rebooted, loaded various models, created a null & primitive within Layout (not loading any pre-existing objects) - still crashes the moment I add cloth dynamics.

If it matters, I'm using LW 10 x64 on Win7. Thanks!

Just had to scan my plugins directory (from Layout - F11) - for whatever reason, it found some that were missing.

Thought I'd post in case it helps the next raw noob to run into this.
